Much has been written about Randall over his (many) years navigating the nuances of the wine industry. While most of it revolved around the creation and explosion of Bonny Doon, we turn now to the future: Popelouchum Estate Vineyard.

Randall Grahm Biography

Randall Grahm has been a tireless champion of the grapes rooted in the Rhône region of France and now California since the inaugural vintage of Bonny Doon Vineyards Le Cigare Volant in 1984. In 1989, Randall appeared on the cover of the Wine Spectator, clad in blue polyester, as "The Rhône Ranger."  In 1994 he was proclaimed Wine and Spirits Professional of the Year by the James Beard Foundation and was inducted into the Culinary Institute of America's Vintner's Hall of Fame in 2009. He has published an award-winning book, "Been Doon So Long: A Randall Grahm Vinthology." He is a regular participant in wine industry symposia on the issues of sustainability and the future of the industry itself.
